The best part of my Easter vacation was the amazing community feeling at the hostel. Within hours of arriving, I felt like I was surrounded by friends. the staff were incredibly friendly and made an effort to get to know all the guests personally. the facilities were clean and well-maintained. I also loved the daily yoga sessions and the events and activities organized by the hostel. It was great to have so many options for entertainment throughout the day.
One aspect that I didn't enjoy was the lack of quiet hours at the hostel. My room was located right next to the outdoor sitting area, and there were instances of late-night noise that disturbed my sleep.

This place is amazing. I stayed at Tribu for a week during my backpacking adventure. The volunteers were helpful and social, and the hostel offered a wide range of free activities like dog walking and beach walks. The location is perfect, just 2 minutes from the beach. The bar area is fun with great cocktails, and the staff are always happy and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a lovely balcony. The friendly vibe and discounted prices at local bars make this hostel a great value for money.
Totally recommend this hotel.

Perfect location next to the beach. The range of activities offered at the hostel is impressive, with something happening morning, afternoon, and evening every day of the week. The staff is mostly great, particularly Amanda who always has a smile on her face and goes out of her way to make everyone feel included. Karen, the yoga teacher, is amazing and her classes left a lasting impression.
The shower had very low water pressure and there was no curtain, causing the floor to get wet and messy. Sheets were not put on the bed for guests, which could have made the stay feel more welcoming.

I recently stayed at a hostel in a stunning location with a great atmosphere. The dorms were spacious and clean, and the open-air area had a nice vibe. The hostel also had a big and clean kitchen, which was perfect for budget travelers like me. I liked the fact that they provided free filtered water, which saved me some money. Additionally, they offered free yoga sessions, which was a fantastic perk.
Although there were a few minor drawbacks like limited power sockets in the dorm and unstable bunk beds, they didn't significantly impact my overall experience. Also, the music from the bar could be loud until 1 am, so bringing earplugs is a good idea if you want to have a peaceful night's sleep.

We had an incredible stay at this unique place. the staff at Tribu made all the difference, from the Mexican Mojito Maestro, Danielle, who whipped up the best pancakes and gave amazing tours, to the friendly reception team who provided all the information we needed. the property itself is beautiful and colorful, and there are plenty of great activities to keep guests entertained. We loved the social atmosphere, with volunteers and guests mixing together, singing around the campfire and enjoying salsa nights at Hot Corner. the staff even went above and beyond by accommodating my need for a lower bed away from the AC when I had no voice. we had an amazing and comfortable stay in a little community that felt like home. Cons: Don't have any issues at all! 👍.

We had an amazing time at Tribu! The daily activities were so much fun and really brought everyone together. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach. Our room was clean and cozy, and it had a balcony where we could relax. The staff was friendly and helpful with any information we needed. Despite a few minor drawbacks like the noise from the bar and the limited Wi-Fi access, we still had an incredible stay. I highly recommend Tribu for a great Holbox experience.

I recently stayed at Tribu Hostel in Isla Holbox for a week-long vacation. The hostel offered a plethora of activities, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel like a part of the big family there. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the ferry stop, main plaza, and the beach. The hostel also provided free activities like yoga, dance classes, and sunset walks, which were great for meeting people. The bar was awesome, with talented bartenders from New York crafting delicious cocktails based on personal preference. Additionally, as a hostel guest, I received discounts at select restaurants.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

For the price we paid, our stay at this hostel was definitely worth it. The room was cozy and had mosquito nets to keep us comfortable. The location was fantastic, just a minute's walk to the beach and two minutes to the town, where we found plenty of restaurants, bars, and mini markets. The staff at the hostel were extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed throughout our stay.
Hotel breakfast could be better if they had more variety.

The hostel had a good location, close to the beach. The bunk beds were comfortable and solid. The overall vibe of the place was great, as I got to meet a lot of new people and the whole area was colorful.
The WiFi was hardly available, which was quite frustrating. The rooms could get really hot during the day since the air conditioning was only turned on at night.
